We shot this photo among the rocks at the famous El Matador beach. There were numerous couples out taking romantic walks, other models and photographers shooting photos, and a group of painters capturing the majestic panorama in oils and watercolors. All in all, a lovely summer evening along the California coastline.
Sara and I shot this along the same area where I photographed Courtney (the girl in the California Girls Skateboards logo) a few years prior. We had some fantastic light. I was stoked to shoot with her becasue she and I had spoken about working together for years and this was our first opportunity to do so. Sara is a very bright soul and I am quite pleased with how our images turned out.
