Anyway, this board features Deanna Webb crawling around at the beach on the California coastline. We had a great time doing this shoot. Deanna even told me that she wasn't freezing to death in the water, which was nice. Had I know that ahead of time, I would have kept her in there longer!
This was only my second time shooting "models in the surf" and I'm really stoked with how the image turned out. The water looks so wild - so vivid, it almost looks like some digital trickery. But nope. That's the actual water spray as it looked in the camera. Pretty cool.
Be sure to pick up your own copy of the Rostro deck and you can prop the board against your wall, get down on all-fours, and have a staring contest with Deanna.
My money is on her for the win.
P.S. I looked it up. "Galician" is closely related to Portuguese and spoken in northwestern Spain - an area which was once part of the medieval Kingdom of Galicia.
